Borussia Dortmund and Germany midfielder Mario Gotze will miss Sunday’s fixture at Hamburg when the Bundesliga returns from its winter break.
Gotze, 19, has a groin injury and Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp said there is a “four percent chance” of him playing against Hamburg. “It’s not worth taking the risk,” Klopp then added.
With five goals and five assists in 14 league fixtures this season, Gotze has continued to emerge as one of the top young players in the world.
Gotze has already played 12 times for Germany, and is coveted by almost every major club in the world.
